We hope this finds you well.
We are excited to announce that there will be a new high school opening in Brooklyn this fall. The application for this school is now open in MySchools, and you are invited to apply.
Bard High School Early College Brooklyn (19K965) will offer young people in Brooklyn a set of extraordinary opportunities, including enabling students to graduate from high school with college credits. This school will be serving grades 9 and 11 in the 2024-25 school year, and will have the following admissions priorities:
40% of seats will be prioritized for applicants from Districts 19 and 23;
40% of seats will be prioritized for applicants from Districts 16, 17, 18, and 32;
10% of seats will be prioritized for the remaining Brooklyn districts of 13, 14, 15, 20, 21 and 22; and,
Then New York City residents will be considered for remaining seats
Families can apply in the parent portal of MySchools by selecting “New Schools” from the Dashboard. If you have an eighth grade student who is interested in applying to this school, or tenth grade students who are interested in applying to Bard Brooklyn, we can support them with their application, which is due by April 19th.
